Senior HR Advisor to Vanderlande – Interim assignment with Nordic responsibility

On behalf of Vanderlande, we are now seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior HR Advisor for a 6-month interim assignment. Start date is as soon as possible. The role is based at Lysaker (2 days/week) and Gardermoen (1 day/week), with flexibility for remote work when needed.

About the Role

As Senior HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting our Nordic teams across Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. The position involves both operational and strategic HR responsibilities, with a strong focus on employment law, employee relations, and HR processes.

You will report to the HR Director and be part of a skilled HR team with colleagues in Norway and internationally. Together, we drive HR initiatives that support the company’s strategy and growth.

You will collaborate closely with:

🔸Global and Regional HR
🔸Service Agent Community

Team Overview:
🔸Lysaker: approx. 10 employees
🔸Gardermoen: approx. 20 employees across various shifts
🔸Remote: approx. 20 employees
🔸Denmark: 15 employees receiving HR support, including one reporting directly to Sara, who oversees 13 employees in total

Responsibilities

Operational HR:
🔸Conduct salary negotiations in Norway
🔸Implement salary structures in Workday according to local regulations
🔸Provide HR advisory coverage for 2–3 Nordic countries
🔸Follow up on sick leave cases
🔸Support colleagues with reimbursements and administrative tasks across the Nordics

Legal and Strategic HR:
🔸Support the new team in Finland with local guidelines and agreements
🔸Handle and interpret collective bargaining agreements (CBA Finland and CBA Sweden)
🔸Ensure local agreements comply with national legislation
🔸Manage disciplinary cases
🔸Prepare HR reports for Norway and the Nordics
🔸Contribute to maintaining and improving HR compliance and practices

Qualifications

🔸Proven experience in operational HR roles
🔸Solid knowledge of employment law in at least two Nordic countries (especially Sweden and Finland)
🔸Experience with collective agreements and union relations
🔸Strong skills in Workday or similar HR systems
🔸Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
🔸Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
